The Wisconsin School of Business conducts research and teaches about entrepreneurship and the processes of innovation while working to improve the entrepreneurial community on campus and beyond. Students pursuing a career in entrepreneurial management develop a broad range of skills in preparation for roles as business owners and managers, venture capitalists, and consultants. Our entrepreneurship degree programs and experiential opportunities help students to effectively navigate new venture creation, the financing of new ventures, the strategic management of emerging technologies, the legal and regulatory influences on innovation and venture creation, and related policy issues. Students and faculty have earned national attention from publications and blogs ranging from Businessweek to Inc. magazine.
