The incoming real estate MBA class of 2019 has nearly completed their MBA Experience program orientation, and what fun they’ve had! From networking with fantastic WREAA alumni, to hard-hat construction tours, to painting on the Memorial Union Terrace, the newest class of real estate MBA students has been fully immersed in the Wisconsin Idea.
Graaskamp Center faculty, staff, and former students of the infamous James (the Chief) Graaskamp also shared the program’s rich history of tradition and innovation with the new group. We were joined for a third year running by alumni Dean Larkin (MS 1981) and John Oharenko (MS 1980), who shared their Chief stories and both personal and professional lessons learned from decades in the real estate industry.
Other real estate orientation events included a WREAA welcome and networking reception for both the incoming MBA group as well as the incoming Global Real Estate Masters students, a jam-packed day of exploring Madison developments on a walking tour with the Graaskamp Center’s associate director, Sharon McCabe, and a casual picnic with program faculty and staff.
We would like to thank all those who participated in making these events special, and welcome the incoming real estate MBA class of 2019!
