The Early Decision Deadline is an opportunity for prospective students to indicate their significant interest in the Wisconsin MBA Program. Occurring on September 27, 2017, this deadline is ideal for candidates who choose the Wisconsin School of Business as their top choice for graduate management education.
What is the early decision deadline?
The early decision application deadline allows candidates to accelerate their admissions process for the Wisconsin MBA Program. Candidates who apply on or before September 27, 2017, will learn of their admissions decision by November 3, 2017.
Who should apply?
Candidates who are committed to the Wisconsin MBA, meaning we are their top school choice, should apply during this application deadline. If you are admitted and choose to accept your offer of admission, you will need to do so on or before January 2, 2018. Additionally, we will ask that you withdraw your application from consideration at other business schools.
There is no benefit to rushing your application to hit a deadline; oftentimes the quality of an application will suffer as a result. If you feel your application will be more competitive at a later date, please consider applying for our other application deadlines. You can check the dates on our website.
What are the next steps to apply for the Early Decision Deadline?
The application for the Wisconsin Full-Time MBA Class of 2020 opens on September 1, 2017. However, you do not have to wait until the fall to start the application process. There are components of the application that can be prepared for in advance, including: studying for the GMAT and scheduling a test date, selecting a recommender and meeting with the person to discuss your MBA plans, and writing your essays. You can explore all the application requirements on our website.
