The fourth and final application deadline for the Wisconsin MBA Class of 2019 is next Wednesday, April 12, 2017. You still have a few days to complete the application requirements and compile the most competitive application possible. After April 12, 2017, any application received will be considered for rolling admission as space permits. If you’re weighing whether or not to apply for Fall 2017 consider the following tips.
- Make sure your GMAT or GRE is complete before April 12, 2017. If you have taken one of these standardized tests you are probably on your way to finishing an application. This is typically one of the more challenging supporting materials for candidates to complete. Are you planning on taking an exam in the future? If so, it may be best to consider applying for Fall 2018 admission.
- Your recommender needs to be on board. Communicating expectations with your recommender is key when finishing up your application. Your recommendation form – note this is not a letter of recommendation – must be completed by your recommender on or before April 12, 2017 in order to be considered for the fourth application deadline.
- Take time to prepare your application. Although the deadline is fast approaching don’t rush the process. A rushed application often leads to mistakes and, as a result, a less competitive application. If you are feeling like there’s too much to get done before next Wednesday it may be a good idea to consider applying next fall.
