SC Johnson Jumps Around with Wisconsin MBAs at Camp Randall Stadium

The 2016 fall semester has begun with a bang! Only one week into classes, SC Johnson (SCJ) organized an incredible networking event geared towards corporate finance, marketing research, and brand management students. As a first year MBA student in Corporate Finance, I can honestly say that I couldn’t have imagined a better start to the school year.

The event, dubbed “Jump Around with SC Johnson”, was held at iconic Camp Randall Stadium and included food, drinks and the opportunity to network with SC Johnson’s top brass, including their CFO, Corporate Controller, and Vice President of Finance.

The evening started with a brief reception and opportunity to talk to SCJ employees, including past interns, who gave me first-hand insights into the awesome job opportunities available at SCJ. After the brief reception, we enjoyed a delicious buffet, watched an informative presentation on SCJ, and then the real fun began… Side-by-side with the SCJ team, we were given a private tour of Camp Randall where we explored this historic stadium top to bottom. Our tour guide gave us on a behind-the-scenes tour which included special access to spaces the public doesn't see.

The tour culminated with photo opportunities for all the students and guests on the turf at center field.

All-in-all, spending the evening with a global company like SCJ was an incredible start to the academic year and I can’t wait to see what the MBA program has in-store next.
