by Elizabeth Davis Thursday, August 25, 2016

With the application opening on September 1, 2016, the admissions team will officially begin building the Wisconsin MBA Class of 2019. There are many ways for prospective students to connect with us including online chats, personalized campus visits, and on-campus information sessions. We are also hosting two in-depth preview events organized to give you a more thorough view of career management, our specialized program, and MBA culture. You are cordially invited to Wisconsin MBA Preview Days and Diversity at the Wisconsin MBA!

Wisconsin MBA Preview Days, taking place on October 9 – 10, 2016, is structured to give prospective students an insider’s look into the admissions process and to help understand the benefits of being intentional with business education. There will be opportunities to speak with admissions team members, specialization staff, and current students to understand both what makes an applicant competitive for admission, but also to determine if we’re the right “fit” for you. Registration is currently open for Wisconsin MBA Preview Days, and you can view the most up-to-date agenda on our website. Please note: there is a hotel room block available for those interested in attending the event. Please register early and secure your hotel room before September 9, 2016. After this point the hotel block will not be available.

Diversity at the Wisconsin MBA, occurring on November 6-7, 2016, provides an opportunity to discuss the business case for diversity, and share the unique perspective that you can bring to the classroom and workplace. All prospective students are welcome to attend and join in on the candid conversation. The admissions team will also share information about the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, an organization committed to increasing the representation of African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans in business and business school. This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Wisconsin School of Business’s partnership with this organization. There is also a hotel room block associated with this event. Please register early and secure your hotel room before October 7, 2016. The hotel block will be discontinued after this point. Registration is open for this event and the most up-to-date agenda can be found on our website.

Preview events are a great way to experience the Wisconsin MBA Program and get a feel for what two years as a MBA student could look like. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the admissions team at
