Poets & Quants Profiles UW-Madison BBA Program

by Staff Tuesday, October 28, 2014

Leading business school website Poets & Quants profiled the Wisconsin School of Business BBA Program and its unique approach to undergraduate business education with The Compass Program™, which integrates business career readiness and personal development into the academic curriculum, and KDBIN™, a student-focused learning model that incorporates Knowing, Doing, Being, Inspiring, and Networking.

In the article, “Wisconsin’s Compass Aims for Work-Ready Undergrads,” Kelly Cuene, director of student life for the BBA Program, explains the inspiration for the ground-breaking Compass Program, the first of its kind: “We wanted to make sure all students were leaving with the skills they needed, not just the ones who were motivated enough to seek it out on their own.”

The article also includes quotes from François Ortalo-Magné, the Albert O. Nicholas Dean of the Wisconsin School of Business; Steve Schroeder, assistant dean of the BBA Program; and Chris Dakes, director of educational innovations and learning design.
