Wisconsin BBA Scholarships

The Wisconsin School of Business provides nearly $1 million in scholarship support to admitted BBA students each year. Most scholarships available through the Wisconsin School of Business and UW–Madison require a single application, which matches your student data with appropriate scholarship opportunities. This application is located at the Wisconsin Scholarship Hub at Scholarships@UW–Madison.


Current BBA Students

Current BBA students can apply for scholarship awards through the Wisconsin School of Business by completing the Continuing BBA Student application on the Wisconsin Scholarship Hub (WiSH) website. Applicants will be considered for both academic department and general BBA awards through this single submission.

To be considered for most BBA awards, completion of the FAFSA is required. The WiSH application will be available February 1 – February 28. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Award notifications will be sent to your University of Wisconsin email address by June 15.

Pre-Business Applicants

Pre-Business applicants to the BBA Program can apply for scholarship awards during the spring term of their application to the Wisconsin School of Business by completing the Pre-Business BBA Student application on the Wisconsin Scholarship Hub (WiSH) website. Applicants will be considered for general BBA awards through this submission.

To be considered for most BBA awards, completion of the FAFSA is required. The WiSH application will be available February 1 – February 28. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Award notifications will be sent to your University of Wisconsin email address by August 1.

Additional BBA Awards for Current Students

This Wisconsin School of Business BBA Program coordinates a variety of other student-specific awards, which will be posted at varied times during the academic year.

Awards include: Study Abroad Scholarships, Your Own Device Award, and the Career Clothing Fund. Students can contact the appropriate BBA Program unit or search the Wisconsin Scholarship Hub (WiSH) website to learn more about these opportunities.


UW–Madison Financial Aid

The Office of Student Financial Aid at UW–Madison is a great place to start when you wish to explore financial aid opportunities, including scholarships, grants, and loans. Students and families can also get help with the process of applying for financial aid. The Office of Student Financial Aid offers a number of resources for both prospective students and those who are already enrolled at UW–Madison.

Please note that students and families who wish to apply for financial aid through UW–Madison must first complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Federal Student Aid

The U.S. Department of Education offers federal student aid to students attending four-year colleges or universities to help pay for education expenses. Federal grants, loans, and work-study programs are awarded to students with financial need. To learn more, visit Federal Student Aid.
