At the Weinert Center, the summer is very much a time of transition. Some students graduate and are launching their careers or startups while at the same time a new group of students are preparing to join the program. This newsletter provides articles regarding our graduating students and what they are doing as well as some background on our incoming Enterprise Development Fellows. In addition, you will find perspectives on some of our innovative entrepreneurship programs at the UW. These programs are designed to help the incoming student and the established graduate student learn about entrepreneurship. The Entrepreneurial Residential Learning Community (ERLC) is located in Sellery Hall and allows those incoming UW freshmen who have an interest in entrepreneurship to live in a community of others who share that passion. This summer, we also celebrated the 10th Wisconsin Entrepreneurial Bootcamp (WEB) class. The WEB program provides UW graduate students and postdocs with an intensive week of technology entrepreneurship training each summer. You will also find some reflections from alumni and recent students on impactful classes and their entrepreneurial journey. A lot of great stories that show the breadth and depth of entrepreneurship at the UW.
