EntrepreNews

Fall 2015

Since our last newsletter we have continued to expand entrepreneurship across the UW and are seeing record numbers of students in our classes and at our various events. We continue to hear amazing success stories from students in a wide range of industries and companies where their entrepreneurial skills and mindset combined with a great UW-Madison education has made a huge difference. This success is made possible by the involvement of our alumni and friends who serve as advisors, mentors, teachers, and sponsors. Thank you!

A great example of our community coming together to energize and teach our students is our Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Showcase which was held in October and is highlighted in the newsletter. This is the largest entrepreneurship event at the UW and one of the most inspiring to all involved. The future success of our students will require them to be more entrepreneurial in managing their career. This will be true if they are part of a startup or join an existing enterprise with the goal of helping it be more innovative and growth oriented. Your support in both time and contributions is making a positive impact in lives of our students.

We hope to see you in the Weinert Center soon.

Best regards,

Dan Olszewski
Director, Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship
