Open Pitch Competition for Innovations to help People with Disabilities

The Weinert Center encourages current students and alumni to explore The Assistive Technology Challenge, a pitch competition run by T
he Destination Medical Center, a public-private initiative of The Mayo Clinic and the City of Rochester. Dr. Adam J. Bock, Lecturer in the Management and Human Resources department, was a reviewer for the inaugural competition in 2018 and will serve as a reviewer for the 2020 ChallengeThe Challenge is a pitch competition open to anyone with an idea that could ultimately improve the lives of people with disabilities. The Challenges aims to facilitate greater independence for individuals with disabilities through products or service that assist with their daily challenges. 






The competition will be held in Rochester, Minnesota on April 4, 2020 and is open to community-based and student teams. Online application forms will be available on January 6 through February 10, 2020. For more information visit the
