Embracing Entrepreneurship Over Lunch

Tuesday, December 29, 2015

In fall 2013, the Weinert Center piloted a weekly lunch and learn series where local experts came to campus to talk with UW students about entrepreneurship. Our goal to have students embrace entrepreneurship came alive with the Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch program. The lunches occur most Wednesdays during the fall and spring semesters and are graciously sponsored and supported by Neider & Boucher, S.C. Entrepreneurs from a wide array of industries come and share their experience, advice and knowledge with students. The Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch has become a popular venue for students to augment their classroom learning with instruction from experts in our community and hopefully inspires them to become entrepreneurs now or in the future.

The Weinert Center continues to offer programming that is designed to help students learn and be trained in entrepreneurship. For the students that we serve, we hope their time with the Weinert Center will be an important stepping-stone in their career as entrepreneurs.
