Joe Kremer (WAVE ‘97) and Jon Seaton (WAVE ’13 and WEB ’12) were two of the ten winners selected at the inaugural Wisconsin Innovation Awards
ceremony. Organizers received around 150 submissions from across the state. Joe’s company Isomark LLC won for its Canary Breath Delta Value Analyzer which detects infection using breath samples. Jon won for Vitacycle, a modular system that uses recyclable materials which fit on a bicycle trailer to grow affordable, nutritious food in urban environments. WAVE board member Joe Boucher of Neider & Boucher, S.C. and friend of the center Matt Younkle of Murfie were the organizers of the event.
