Building the Center’s Community Through Corporate Partnerships

Throughout the semester, companies play a major role in our students’ educations. The Center can’t help but acknowledge the growth and commitment we continue to gain through relationships with different companies. These relationships are formed in many ways – through alumni, our Executive Advisory Board, conferences, case competitions, and continuous networking.
Our partners provide applied learning experiences, including lunch-and-learns where representatives talk about a current supply chain topic within their company, site visits where students experience an industry first-hand and quite often have the opportunity to engage with senior leaders, and other sessions that touch not only on supply chain topics but also how to navigate the business world.
With our growing support from industry, the Center is able to provide students with opportunities unmatched by many other programs. In the fall, we had 22 companies participate in the supply chain career fair, and we had 18 total events involving corporate partners such as W.W. Grainger, Inc., Kohler Co., and Amazon. Our career fair is an opportunity for employers to recruit specifically for supply chain roles at both BBA and MBA levels, and our applied learning and other events put our students directly in front of people in industry.
As we continue to expand our network of employers, our primary goal is to meet the needs of our students and provide them the best education we can. Without corporate relationships, that would not be possible.
Thank you to all the companies who have contributed to the education of our students!
