Marshall Erdman A man with “Uncommon Sense” 1922 - 1995

The Erdman Center’s 20th Anniversary Celebration

November 12-14, 2015

The Center’s 20th Anniversary will be celebrated over three days this November 12, 13, and 14. Marshall Erdman’s generous gift – later augmented by his children – became the cornerstone of the Center’s funding. The first Executive Advisory Board meeting took place in November 1995, and this fall’s Board meeting will be part of our anniversary celebration. We will recognize not only two decades of industry support and producing outstanding graduates, but also a change in leadership. In January 2016, founding executive director Professor Urban Wemmerlöv will step down and Professor Enno Siemsen will take over the helm.

On Thursday, November 12, there will be a lecture on data security by board member John Kreul, CIO at Bemis – followed by a social gathering downtown Madison.

On Friday, November 13, there will be an abbreviated advisory board meeting, followed by a celebration luncheon, a presentation on 3-D printing by Professor Siemsen, and a reception.

On Saturday, November 14, there will be a breakfast/business meeting for alumni and students only, and a dinner for donors, board members, alumni, students, faculty, staff and accompanying spouses or friends.

A detailed agenda and lodging information can be found on separate tabs (see above).
