First year brand students arrived at Kimberly Clark’s headquarters full of excitement and energy this October. Alumni started off the day by showing their experiences at KC, both from their time as interns and their current ABM roles. David Curley, CBPM Class of 2014 spoke about his time on the Kleenex brand (picture below).
Clive Sirkin, CMO, then spoke about his strategies for innovation and brand building within KC. His passion for learning agility was especially inspiring for students as he encouraged them to build a unique and diverse skill set. The Kleenex and Huggies teams each hosted panel discussions on innovation and brand strategy, giving CBPM students a chance to interact with top management from each brand team. After a tour of the X-Mill, or Experimental Mill (picture below), the day ended with an exciting hands-on experience: students had the opportunity to make their own UW-themed paper! What a fun and engaging day! Thank you so much to Kimberly Clark for hosting such a phenomenal event, and to all of our own CBPM alumni who were involved in the experience.
