Kat Shanahan

Senior Director of Strategic Marketing, Wisconsin School of Business Center for Professional & Executive Development

Kat Shanahan is the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing for the Center for Professional & Executive Development at the Wisconsin School of Business. She has more than 10 years of experience building brands while creating and implementing strategic marketing plans for large and small organizations across a variety of industries.

Previously, Kat served in marketing roles at multiple award-winning educational and commercial video game development studios. During that time, Kat lead organizational marketing initiatives and managed the marketing and branding efforts for individual game titles. Prior to working in the video game industry, Kat spearheaded integrated marketing and branding initiatives at the James R. Connor University Center at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Kat has also previously served as an adjunct faculty member at Southern New Hampshire University, where she designed and facilitated online, undergraduate marketing courses.

Kat has a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Multimedia Digital Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University.
