Students provided comparative and contrasting business strategies such as license to an established producer, license to catalyst producer and license to a supplier for a commercialized propylene catalyst. Students evaluated the trade offs of an exclusive vs. non-exclusive relationship as well as considered a wide array of factors, i.e. supply chain, international markets, targeted customers, etc.
