Rafael A. Nunez is a senior project engineer with Cummins Emissions Solutions, currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program (class of 2014) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He holds bachelor’s (cum laude) and master’s degrees of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Rafael is currently heading a team to design and develop emission control units for large diesel engines that can be used across different applications and markets. He has spent the last 14 years in technical roles of increasing responsibilities in the power generation, mining, airline, and manufacturing industries.
Born in Colombia and having lived in several countries, Rafael is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and German. He enjoys traveling with his wife, meeting new people, and learning about other cultures.
