Jeff KochBrand and Product Management

Jeff Koch will earn his MBA from the University of Wisconsin - Madison specializing in Brand and Product Management. Jeff has gained several years of experience using data analytics and qualitative research as the drive behind marketing initiatives.


Prior to embarking on his MBA studies, Jeff spent seven years in marketing and communications focusing on program and service marketing. He began his professional career with Aditya Birla Minacs managing American Honda Motor Company direct marketing campaigns valued at $2.1 million annually. During his tenure he grew to manage distribution for two auxiliary programs and mentor other marketing professionals in his region. 


Jeff transitioned to a cross-functional role at Washington State University, which fostered his professional growth by developing stronger writing, project management, and data-driven marketing skills. During the institutions 125th anniversary campaign, Jeff joined the university’s brand team where he developed a passion for brand management. Interacting with brand managers, advertising agency teams, and gaining hands-on exposure to brand management during the project solidified his decision to earn an MBA focusing on Brand Management. He is excited to develop stronger brand management skills through the Center for Brand and Product Management and pursue a career in the consumer packaged goods industry.


Jeff attended the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and graduated in 2009 with a BBA in Marketing Management, and Operations and Supply Chain Management. During his time with Washington State University he earned an MA in Strategic Communication. In his free time, he enjoys watching the Milwaukee Brewers, having a good beer, and training for his next Spartan Race.
