Cindy BaiMarketing Research

Cindy Bai is excited to join the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research. Cindy has always found people’s thoughts, emotions and motivations to be fascinating, and it was her innate curiosity about what drives consumers that led her to the world of market research.   

Prior to coming to UW, Cindy worked as a Project Manager at Research Now, a global leader in digital data collection. At RN, she acted as a research methodology consultant for clients like Bain & Company and The Boston Consulting Group, offering advice on data fielding strategy and survey design for projects in a wide variety of industries. She also led numerous tracking studies for Fortune 500 clients, as well as ad hoc projects for boutique firms with specialized market research needs. Through this role, she further solidified her interest in consumer insights and its growing importance in the future of business decision-making. Cindy went on to complete a professional research certification through The University of Georgia, and led case studies with her team in order to share and build upon the knowledge she had acquired. 

Cindy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s in Advertising and a minor in Business. She is passionate about traveling, photography, art, languages and world cultures. After receiving her MBA, she hopes to provide consumer insights for an innovative CPG or technology company and help guide its business decisions through the voice of the consumer.
