Tiep DoSupply Chain Management

Tiep graduated from Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh City with a Bachelor in International Finance. After graduation in 2011, however, she decided to start her career as a purchase developer in a Vietnamese young start-up specializing in trading agricultural commodities, knowing it would be the ideal place for her to pursue her passion for agriculture.

In 2014, she moved to Peter Cremer, a multinational company, to explore agribusiness on a global scale. She believes a breadth of experience encompassing working with both local and multinational players will be extremely useful for her future leadership journey in the industry. As a Commodity Trader, she was responsible for the company’s trading activities in Vietnam and Myanmar, emerging markets in South East Asia.

Five years’ experience of working in agribusiness has well informed her of the challenges facing agriculture, peasants, and local agribusiness companies in developing countries. With a Master of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from Wisconsin School of Business, she hopes to make contribution to the development of Vietnam’s agriculture and local economics by providing local agribusiness companies with commercially viable supply chain management solutions.

In her spare time, she loves travelling to discover new places and different cultures.
