Nicholas RobyApplied Security Analysis

Nicholas Roby is currently a senior at UW-Madison studying Finance, Investment, and Banking and a first-year student in the Wisconsin School of Business Applied Security Analysis Program.

During his time as an undergraduate at Wisconsin, Nicholas has been a member of various finance related clubs, including the Investment Banking Club and the Capital Management Club. The experiences from these activities have furthered his interest and passion for the finance industry.

While attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Nicholas has completed internships at First Weber, Inc. and NISA Investment Advisors. At First Weber, he worked directly with the firm’s CFO to help analyze and project the company’s expense and revenue drivers for the fiscal budget. During his most recent internship at NISA Investment Advisors in St. Louis, MO, Nicholas was a member of the Fixed Income and Derivatives Group. His projects included creating models to analyze portfolio performance and analyzing the firm’s futures holdings and their relevant position limits.

When Nicholas is not in the classroom, he enjoys playing hockey and golf, exercising, listening to podcasts, and spending time on Lake Mendota and at the Memorial Union with friends.
