Dan TricaricoApplied Security Analysis

Daniel Tricarico is excited to be a member of the Applied Security Analysis Program (ASAP) in the Wisconsin School of Business for the class of 2019. Originally from Westchester County, New York, Daniel is attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he’s earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment and Banking.

As an undergraduate, Daniel has spent time cultivating a passion for finance and investing while also enjoying the holistic college experience. Through clubs, classes and peer debate, he furthered his interest in the finance industry. He took his academic experiences into the financial landscape by interning his first three summers at financial institutions, which provided tangible and applicable experiences to which he could further his knowledge and skills within the industry.

One example of these experiences was his internship at investment bank National Securities where he initiated coverage of the stock Xactly (XTLY-Nasdaq). He detailed an investment conclusion and price target, which his boss published to his clients. Daniel also served as the recruitment chair for Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity where he organized and executed events with a detailed budget and a team of 12. These experiences have shaped Daniel’s ideals, skills and outlook that he hopes to carry with him into his future workplace.

With a MS in finance from the Wisconsin School of Business, Daniel seeks to enter a buy-side firm with the hunger and determination to succeed not only for himself, but also for his co-workers and the financial institution he represents.
