Jared SchnollReal Estate and Urban Land Economics

Jared Schnoll is thrilled to return to the great state of Wisconsin to pursue his MBA with the Wisconsin School of Business and Grasskamp Center for Real Estate Class of 2020. Jared grew up in Milwaukee and attended the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where he majored in Finance- Real Estate. After graduation, he accepted a job at CIBC (f.k.a. The PrivateBank) in Chicago.

At CIBC, Jared began his professional career with an 18 month formal credit training program where he sharpened his financial analysis and presentation skills. Upon completion of credit training, he was placed in the Commercial Real Estate Group within the Bank. In this role, Jared managed institutional real estate clients by evaluating $5-50 million new deal opportunities with an emphasis on structuring, underwriting, and legal documentation. He was also responsible for monitoring a $625 million portfolio of existing commitments by regularly assessing risk and completing regulatory compliance. At the Bank, Jared became familiar with various asset classes (multifamily, retail, industrial, office, and real estate fund lines of credit) and also tracked the business plan execution for construction, redevelopment, repositioning, and stabilized deals.

Upon graduation from UW, Jared hopes to transition from the debt world to the equity side and pursue a career in real estate development. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
