Andy EvansReal Estate and Urban Land Economics

Andy Evans graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Upon graduation, he worked at a global IT firm as a financial sales analyst for the International Sales team. In this role, he supported the international sales team and European CFO in tracking deal flow and forecasting project income. During a change in leadership, he then transferred to a corporate financial role and worked under the CFO at managing global corporate budgets, where he had his first foray into real estate. While in this position, he managed a global budget around $40 million and helped reposition the company during a restructure to find $10 million in cost reductions.

Upon his exposure to corporate real estate, Andy decided to change careers and began working for a private real estate investment firm focusing on multi family assets. His prior work in finance allowed for a quick transition into an analyst position in acquisitions and asset management. In this position he facilitated in acquiring $50 million in assets in both Colorado and Florida. While monitoring each property he worked alongside contractors and managers and guided all parties to execute renovation plans generating significant accretive performance improvement, value generation ultimately validated and monetized through asset disposition.

Outside of work, Andy is an avid snowboarder and golfer, he also enjoys seeking local cuisine not found anywhere else. He is excited to join the Wisconsin School of Business Real Estate program to further his knowledge and work alongside others that want to establish themselves as leaders in this field.
