Beth LarsonArts Administration

Wisconsin native Beth Larson will earn her MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business and the Bolz Center for Arts Administration. Beth is a diverse musician and administrator with extensive experience as an orchestral performer, chamber musician, educator, and contractor. She received her Undergraduate Degree at University of Wisconsin-Madison after receiving a full-tuition scholarship award from the UW Music Clinic. After completing her degree, Beth moved to Chicago to act as both Assistant Concertmaster and Principal Second Violin of her two-year fellowship with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.   She also founded and performed regularly with the Allium String Quartet in recitals and private performances throughout the city. As an active orchestral musician, Beth performs throughout the Midwest and beyond with ensembles such as Madison Symphony Orchestra, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, Willy Street Chamber Players, Heartstrings Quartet, and Lucia String Quartet. Beth is also a passionate educator and maintains a private violin and viola studio on the West Side of Madison. She acts as the First Violin Coach for the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras. Beth has acted as the UW-Madison Mead Witter School of Music’s Engagement and Outreach Coordinator for the past two years.
