Aashutosh HawaldarOperations and Technology Management

Aashutosh joins the Operations & Technology Management Program with Process Improvement consulting roles in Healthcare, Telecommunications & Health Insurance industries. Starting off with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai, India and getting introduced to manufacturing process improvement Aashutosh pursued his professional inclination for quality & operational excellence at University at Buffalo, NY with a Master’s in Industrial Engineering.

Post Masters, Aashutosh has worked on diverse consulting teams, internal & external, on projects ranging from Operational Change Readiness for Affordable Care Act at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to Operational Planning for Fiber Internet launch in Arizona for Cox Communications. Now certified & equipped with a Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Aashutosh worked with the senior leadership at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado to identify, evaluate & prioritize projects targeting varied operations KPI. Aashutosh led all Process Improvement efforts in key functional areas like Revenue Cycle (collections, billing efficiencies & accuracy etc.) & Strategic Integration (e.g. cross organizational research administration improvement) with net ROI greater than $1M.

By joining the Operations & Technology Management Program, Aashutosh plans to build on his already solid foundation in Operations while adding a well-rounded functional skill-set base in finance, strategy & marketing that’ll help him partners better with the senior leadership & clientele going forward.
