Aidan CavalliniApplied Security Analysis

Aidan Cavallini is a first-year student in the Applied Security Analysis Program who recently completed his undergraduate degree from the Wisconsin School of Business with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Finance and a Certificate in German.

This past summer, Aidan interned at both Riverwater Partners in Milwaukee and at Phoenix Investment Adviser in New York City. As an equity research intern for Phoenix, Aidan had the role of researching highly distressed companies and building models for one of the fund’s portfolio managers, along with making pitches on the various companies he covered. As an intern with Riverwater Partners, he also constructed models and worked directly with the firm’s CIO. He looks to further his comprehension of investing as he pursues his CFA designation and is sitting for the CFA Level I in June.

During his undergraduate career, Aidan was a four-year varsity letter winner for the University of Wisconsin’s Men’s Division I hockey team. He was an Academic All-Big Ten Athlete for three consecutive years, and was recognized nationally in his final season for winning the NCAA Derek Hines Unsung Hero Award. He plans to carry over the same success he had as an athlete to a career in asset managment.
