Sarah SedlachekBrand and Product Management

Sarah Sedlachek is currently pursuing her dreams of earning an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Center for Brand and Product Management.  Originally from Michigan, Sarah attended Michigan State University where she earned a BS degree in Marketing from the Eli Broad College of Business. While at MSU, she was an active member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity and traveled and worked abroad for 2 summers in their Study Abroad Program.

 

Before coming to the University of Wisconsin- Madison, Sarah worked full time for 3 years at Uline Headquarters as a Marketing Associate with a focus on Product Management. Her portfolio of products spanned across 6 sections at Uline and included over 1,200 unique skus.  She left Uline with a legacy of saving the company over $1.3 MM and rebuilding the Anti-Static section to include a highly profitable Cleanroom subcategory, complete with new clothing and accessory product additions. While at Uline, Sarah got involved with an array of departments.  Top involvement included the Pricing department; where she negotiated price points and GP margins, Creative department; where she built up the Uline brand by assisting in designs for private label concepts, and the Web team; where she delegated Google Keyword and PLA spend.  She enjoyed the fast-paced environment and knowledge opportunities that the high-growth company provided.

 

Sarah’s next goal in life includes graduating with an MBA in 2019 and taking her newfound knowledge to catapult her career in Brand and Product Management. She strives to be in a leadership position that challenges her daily and pushes her to grow both professionally and personally.

 

When Sarah is not in the classroom or making lists in a corner somewhere, you can find her enjoying the lakes with her husband or exploring all the restaurants and bars Madison has to offer.
