Wendy Morris, the Director of Creative Leadership at Intermedia Arts in Minneapolis, is a pioneering leadership educator and consultant. In 2002 she co-founded the Creative Community Leadership Institute, a cross-sector professional development program for people working at the intersection of arts and community change. She has been on the faculty at premiere leadership venues in North America and Asia, including ALIA Institute in Nova Scotia, Canada, where leaders in government, business, non-governmental agencies and non-profit organizations gather from around the world to learn to be more innovative and effective changemakers. At home in Minneapolis she has been affiliated with two research and training centers at the University of Minnesota: the Humphrey School of Public Affairs' Center for Integrative Leadership, where she recently served as an Executive Leadership Fellow; and the Center for Spirituality and Healing. She also collaborates as a designer and facilitator with several global networks for change including the Art of Hosting network, the Human Systems Dynamics Institute, and the Presencing Institute. Her work has been recognized by more than 25 awards for excellence in leadership, interdisciplinary practice and the arts, including fellowships from the Bush Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the McKnight Foundation.
