Steven Cooley is Executive Director, Marketing Research and Strategy at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas, where he is responsible for market and competitive insights for the enterprise and local Plans. Steve has spent the past 22 years examining consumer behavior and business issues in health insurance and related industries. He holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from DePaul University, where he developed his interest in studying human behavior as an undergraduate in that wonderful laboratory of Chicago. Steve also represents the Blues as a member of the External Advisory Board for the A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Research at the University of Wisconsin and the Board of The People’s Music School in Chicago.
