Randall is originally from Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin.  His experience in Ford Marketing Research began after 10 years of various field assignments with Ford.  After a variety of research positions, Randall now leads a team that conducts Global Advanced Product Research.  He enjoys the constant learning environment of research and seeing those findings integrated into corporate decisions.  He finds great satisfaction in helping others in the industry especially students who are considering a career in Marketing Research.

Quote From Randall:

"The Marketing Research discipline is one of the best positions an individual can have because of two key elements.  First, it enables you to obtain a cross-functional knowledge of any organization – for profit or not for profit.   Second, it rewards the research professional with a keen sense of accomplishment by providing decisions makers the information they need to make organizations more responsive to consumers and thereby more successful. Also, being part of the UW Madison A.C. Nielsen Center External Advisory Board is very rewarding to me since it provides an opportunity to give to students real world examples of challenges and opportunities facing Market Research.  This helps ensure new researchers are even better equipped to meet the future challenges of the field.   I also receive the benefit of hearing first-hand about new and exciting tools in the Marketing Research field from students and colleagues."
