Jim is currently President and CEO of Directions Research, Inc. where he is also one of the senior owners of the firm. His responsibilities include all aspects of company strategy and vision, marketing, client service and staffing. Primarily, his focus is on meeting the needs of the firm’s clients with innovative products and services, deep analytics and world class client service expertise and responsiveness.

Today’s insight market is changing from massive amounts of consumer specific data on their purchasing and activity behaviors to advanced modeling and predictive analytics. Jim and his firm are at the forefront of these initiatives as he continues to evolve his professional experiences and focus.

Prior to joining Directions in 2010, Jim held a variety of senior management positions within the industry including President and Founder of Market Intelligence, Inc. (a custom market research firm that was acquired by Catalina Marketing in 2000). His passion is in helping clients grow their businesses through making the best decisions at every step of a product’s or service’s stage in its life cycle. The business world changes constantly, insights need to be an iterative process that is continual and forever searching for bigger and better ideas.
