Gary Rappeport retired from the role of CEO of Donlen at the end of 2012. Gary Rappeport took the leadership role at Donlen as CEO in 1997 after more than ten years in various roles throughout the organization. Under Gary’s guidance, Donlen experienced exponential growth, making Donlen the fastest growing fleet management company over the last five years. He has built a culture focused on employee engagement and customer satisfaction, ensuring Donlen’s continued success. In 2011, Gary led the initiative to become a wholly owned subsidiary of The Hertz Corporation, positioning Donlen as the fleet management industry’s market leader for mobility solutions.

Mr. Rappeport's focus on employee satisfaction, customer retention, and overall corporate culture has led to numerous awards for Donlen, including his being named the 2009 Executive of the Year by the American Business Association (ABA) Awards. In December 2007, Mr. Rappeportwas the focus of a Smart Business Chicago Magazine feature for his innovative approach to corporate culture.

Mr. Rappeport is a member of the Chicago Chapter of the World Presidents Organization, and serves as chairman of the American Automotive Leasing Association. Gary is on the Dean's Advisory Board of the University of Wisconsin Business School. He is an active member of The Sierra Club. Gary holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Florida and an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
