Milo Pinkerton is president and founder of MSP Real Estate, Inc., a construction and development company, and Heritage Senior Living, a separate assisted living/memory-care management company, with a portfolio of over 2,000 owned units located primarily in Wisconsin and in Minnesota.

MSP Real Estate, Inc. was established in 1979, specializing in constructing tax-credit, low-income rental apartments. The next growth phase started in 2001, when the company began constructing senior housing campuses of independent, assisted, and memory-care apartments. In 2001, Heritage Senior Living was founded in order to provide the highest quality of care for our higher-needs seniors.

Previously, Pinkerton was vice president and manager of special projects for ITT Real Estate Services, where he was in charge of the disposition of $50M of troubled real estate nationwide. He was also project director with a regional development/construction company called Orville E. Madsen and Sons, based in Madison, Wisconsin, where he was in charge of developing over 450 units.

Pinkerton has a Master of Science in Business, Real Estate Investment degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota. He is licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin as a real estate broker.

MSP Real Estate, Inc.was recognized as the 22nd largest tax-credit developer by the DDC Journal, Summer 2012, and was recognized as the number one LGBT-owned company by the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal for 2011 and 2012.
