On-campus recruiting can involve a number of different activities: job postings, interviews, information sessions and class presentations. Our most active recruiters are involved with all of these, but most employers participate in one or two of these activities.
Fall 2013
Tuesday, September 3, 2013 - First Day of Classes
Week of September 16, 2013 - Mock Interview Week (in‐person, phone, and Skype)
The MBA Career Management Center hosts the annual MBA Mock Interview Week for simulated interview preparation. This is a great way to get connected to the Wisconsin MBA and build your brand awareness with our student population. Mock interviews can be conducted on campus, via phone, or via Skype and can be flexible depending upon your schedule. If you are interested in participating as a mock interviewer, please contact Amanda Truppe at atruppe@bus.wisc.edu or 608-265-2353.
September 16, 2013 - Company Information Sessions Begins
Friday, September 20, 2013 - Annual Graduate Business Association Golf Outing
MBA students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the Wisconsin School of Business use this great annual event to build their career networks. Pairings for the outing will be created based on graduate centers of career specialization, and corporate sponsorships will be available to increase your company's exposure. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Megan Monaghan at mmonaghan@wisc.edu.
- Location: The Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin
Week of September 23, 2013 (Tent.) - Fall Career and Internship Fair
The MBA Career Management Center will be co‐sponsoring the campus‐wide career and internship fair. Though it has traditionally targeted undergraduates, companies with broad student targets and multiple recruiting areas can increase exposure by targeting many students at once. By registering for the fair and selecting “MBA” as a target population, we will direct interested students to you at the fair. We would strongly encourage you send representatives who are very familiar with the MBA-related roles.
September 23–December 6, 2013 - Résumé Books Available, Open for Fall On‐Campus Interviews
