The Center for Brand and Product Management MBA degree is a two-year, full-time program. Each student takes a set of core classes, including topics such as financial management, operations, and data analysis and decision making, that grounds them in business fundamentals.

As a student at the Center, you are also immersed in marketing courses and real-world learning experiences tailored to your prospective career in brand and product management.

In addition, you have the opportunity to take up to six electives of your choice. This allows you to focus even more deeply on brand management coursework or explore other areas of business, such as entrepreneurship, corporate finance or consulting skills. Some students take electives at other schools at the University of Wisconsin, such as Engineering, Journalism or Human Ecology. The program’s flexibility allows you to tailor your course schedule to your professional needs and personal interests.

From your first contact with the Center, you’ll notice something different. We take the time to learn about you and where you’ve been, and to help you figure out how to get to where you want to go. You get the individual attention you need to make the right decision about attending the Center for Brand and Product Management.

With that, we hope you’ll apply and pay us a visit. And, once you come to the Center as a student, the close connections with the Center staff continue. On the academic and career fronts, Amy assists students with polishing their resumes and honing their interview skills. And she works tirelessly to help match students to the ideal internship or job.

But the personal attention doesn’t stop there. The Center’s staff, along with many of our Advisory Board members, are there as a mentor for students, giving them the professional and personal guidance they need to be successful.
