Each fall, the Actuarial Science, Risk Management and Insurance department holds a career fair attracting more than 250 bachelor’s and master’s students interested in insurance-related positions at one of the most highly-regarded programs in the country. Most students who attend the event are majoring in actuarial science and/or risk management and insurance. However, we also draw students from other majors such as finance, mathematics, statistics, and economics.

The 2011 Career Fair occured on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, and drew 120 recruiters from 43 companies across the country.

Registration Fees

Registration fees for employers are $495 per table for early registration and $595 for registration after the deadline. Registration provides employers with one six-foot table to organize your display and use for a greeting space. If space is available, a second table can be obtained for an additional fee. You will also receive access to the actuarial science and risk management and insurance student web resume book at entry in the Career Fair Guide, and pre-fair publicity across the UW-Madison campus.

Sponsors

Sponsorship donations enhance the experience for students and employers alike. The name of each sponsor will be displayed on our Career Fair webpage, on a banner at the career fair and on all career fair publications. In addition, each sponsor's booth will denote sponsorship level and will be located in a high traffic corridor.

Our Business Career Center will work with you to secure the best available interview time. On-campus interviews can be scheduled begining Wednesday, October 5, 2011 and will continue the next day. Please contact Duane Cooper to schedule interviews.
