Lecturer’s Loyalty Business Focuses on Marketing to Keep Customers by Staff

Marketing Lecturer David Gee makes front-page news in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as CEO and co-founder of Bungee Loyalty Programs, which specializes in creating customer loyalty programs for a variety of businesses.

Gee's firm designs and manages loyalty programs so that business owners can concentrate on bringing in new customers and developing new products. "We develop the marketing to get people into the program, and we can integrate the software into a company's website," Gee told the Journal-Sentinel.

According to Gee, what some companies are realizing, is that it costs five times as much to get a new customer as it does to keep one. His company tries to stop the flow of customers leaving a business and increase customer spending.

Gee recently signed a deal with Salesforce.com to sell loyalty programs. Examples of other clients include a car dealership in Dubai and a plastic surgeon's office in Toledo, Ohio.

"It all comes down to return on investment," Gee said. "This is going to change our world.”
