A fund managed by Richard Lane, CFA, an alumnus of the Applied Security Analysis program of the Wisconsin School of Business, made the Forbes Honor Roll of funds for delivering sound results in markets good and bad. Only 10 funds in the nation were named to the list.
Lane earned his B.A. in Economics from UW-Madison in 1979. He earned an M.S. in Applied Security Analysis in 1982.
FMI Focus Fund is managed by Broadview Advisors, LLC a Milwaukee-based registered investment advisor. Broadview was founded by Lane and Glenn W. Primack in May 2001.
