In the article “As Kids Head Back to Class, Locker Décor is Atop the Supply List,” Epp says lockers are one of the few places students express their identities while at school, and retailers have taken notice.
"[I]t's easy for retailers to market the idea of personalizing student lockers using must-have items for the back-to-school season," Epp says. "After all, this is likely the only space in the school setting—where they spend a majority of their day—that allows them to express their individuality. Why leave it blank?"
