The Wisconsin State Journal recently profiled John Surdyk (MBA ’03), director of the Initiative for Studies in Transformational Entrepreneurship (INSITE) at the Wisconsin School of Business.

In the article, “Fostering entrepreneurship at the UW–Madison,” Surdyk describes the entrepreneurship community on campus.

“The entrepreneurial group used to serve about 100 students a year,” says Surdyk. “Now there are 1,300 students, between INSITE, the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship and the School of Business. Three faculty members and five academic staff, including me, are teaching 18 classes this spring.”

Surdyk joined the School in 2004 to help develop the INSITE program into a thriving entrepreneurial resource for UW–Madison students.
