Marjorie Rosenberg, a professor in the Wisconsin School of Business’s Department of Risk and Insurance, recently won an award from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health & Society Scholars program.
The award will provide financial support for Rosenberg’s new course on health care analytics. This unique course will build on Rosenberg’s interest in the application of statistical methods and actuarial expertise to health care. The course will be facilitated by the efforts of the students, who will help develop the syllabus over the course of the semester.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Health & Society Scholars program is designed to encourage research, leadership, and policy change to address the multiple determinants of population health in the U.S.
