The Erdman Center for Operations and Technology Management—home to the Wisconsin MBA’s operations specialization—welcomed Nicole Truog as its new director last week.

Truog will play a key role in recruiting, advising, development, and placement, as well as nurturing and expanding industry relationships.

She comes to the Wisconsin School of Business from the Center of Financial Security at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she received the 2012 Excellence in Outreach and Engagement Award for her leadership in developing and implementing the Family Financial Security Webinar Series.

“Nicole brings great experience after working in the commercial banking industry for many years,” said Professor and Erdman Center Executive Director Urban Wemmerlöv. “She will make an excellent addition to our gifted and devoted staff working at the Wisconsin School of Business.”

Truog holds her BS in business administration from Marquette University and an MA in public policy and urban development from Loyola University Chicago.

The Erdman Center was established in 1994 to prepare students to compete in the competitive business environment. Its operations and technology management specialization within the Wisconsin MBA program is geared toward students seeking advanced positions as consultants, analysts, product or service managers, project leaders, and business developers, as well as operations, information technology, and supply chain managers.
