BBC Mundo did a follow-up to a 2010 Hispanic Business Magazine ranking that positioned the Wisconsin School of Business as a Top Ten school for attracting Hispanic students. The article touches on several components that make the business school a great place for Hispanic students to come and study—long-standing diversity programs and the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, to name a few.
Interim Dean Joan Schmit attributed the school's success to its consistent ability to raise awareness about the various opportunities available for minority students to come study at the Wisconsin School of Business.
"Students feel at home here, no matter where they come from," Schmit told BBC Mundo.
