The career fair is an ideal setting for employers to interact with University of Wisconsin-Madison students and alumni seeking current internship and full-time positions across numerous degree levels. Prior to the on-campus interview process, employers can take advantage of many opportunities to brand themselves by participating in career fairs and other recruiting events.

Campus-wide career fairs provide a direct link for employers to reach the largest number of students at one time. These particular fairs are offered twice a year in collaboration with several school/college partners across campus.

Real Estate Career Fair – Monday, February 13, 2017

Hosted by the Wisconsin Real Estate Club, the 18th annual Real Estate Career Fair is an excellent opportunity to present your company and recruit top real estate students from both the MBA and undergraduate levels.

Wisconsin School of Business students and alumni also participate in a host of regional and national career fairs including:

Information Sessions

Employer information sessions are one-hour presentations conducted by corporate representatives either the evening before their recruiting visit or a few weeks in advance. Typically the sessions are held between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Some organizations limit attendance to students on the interview schedule and waitlist as a pre-night event. Other organizations encourage all interested students to attend to boost interest from a strong number of applicants. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres are often served.

The purpose of the information sessions is to provide students with information on specific employment opportunities, actual career paths, qualities sought in applicants and training programs, and a general overview of the recruiting process at a company. The sessions will also give students the opportunity to network with recruiting leads and alumni!

Company presentations can take on many forms, depending upon the time of year, target audience, and nature of the organization. Many information sessions take place in Grainger Hall, home of the Wisconsin BBA and MBA programs, but organizations may elect to hold these events elsewhere on campus or at a local restaurant. Regardless of the location, our Employer Relations team can work closely with your organization to help devise the most appropriate location, format, publicity, and budget to make you stand out.
