Competition resuming in 2017
The Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) will relaunch the business plan competition on April 28, 2017!
The WSB is committed to teaching, research, and service pertaining to entrepreneurial management and enterprise development, including programs such as the Entrepreneurship Residential Learning Community, the Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (WEB), and the Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Showcase.
A record number of teams and students competed for a record number of prizes on Friday, May 1, 2015 in the 18th annual Burrill Business Plan Competition.
Students from 50 majors across campus presented a variety of venture ideas.
Top award placements from the 2015 competition included:
- Entolution ($1,000)
- LifeMap ($4,000)
- ITR Medical ($7,000)
- Tixora ($10,000)
Ways to Get Involved
- Judge student entries in the competition.
- Provide in-kind and financial support for the event and winners.
- Volunteer as a mentor for student ventures.
- Students: enter as a competitor or volunteer with the Business Plan Competition.
