Participants gain a generalist viewpoint, refresh key ideas and concepts, strengthen their understanding of core HR competencies and increase productivity.
Judy Peirick, SHRM-SCP, SPHR
Judy is the vice president of human resources at Webcrafters, Inc. She has more than 30 years of human resource experience in health care and manufacturing. Her primary areas of responsibility have included strategic planning, employee and labor relations, talent acquisition and management, total rewards, development and safety.
Judy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s of business administration in management. She is very involved in the community and has served on numerous boards including United Way, Meriter Retirement Services, The Alliance, the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality and the National Cooperative Rx. She has also served on several human resource advisory committees including the Dane County Manufacturing Consortium, the Council on Wisconsin Strategies, W-2 steering committee, Oakwood, and United Cerebral Palsy.
Jim Neustadt, MBA, SHRM-SCP℠
Jim has over 46 years of experience in all phases of the automobile industry. He worked for General Motors Corporation for 10 years, in various retail senior management positions for 8 years, was part owner of a large retail dealership for 14 years, was VP of Member Services for the Wisconsin Automobile and Truck Dealers Association for 7 years and retired at the end of 2015 after having been the Director of Human Resources and Compliance for Wisconsin’s highest volume Toyota dealership for 7 years. Jim earned a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Cardinal Stritch University. He earned his SHRM-SCP℠ certification in 2015. He is a member of SHRM nationally, state and locally, is on the Programming and Peer Advisory Committee of GMA SHRM and was on the Member Advisory Board of Group Health Cooperative (GHC) for 4 years.

All credentials are valid for three years. Recertification is required every three years through demonstrated professional development (preferred method) or retaking the exam.

The Grainger Hall, Lot 7 parking entrance is on Brooks street between University Ave. and Johnson St.
Lot 7 beneath Grainger Hall, owned and operated by UW Transportation Services, has been converted into an hourly, pay-as-you-go lot. Please take a ticket from the automated gate upon entering. Additional parking is available to the public at the Lake Street/Frances Street Parking Ramp which is located between Lake and Frances Streets, near State Street, and is three blocks from the Fluno Center and Grainger Hall School of Business, and two blocks from The Pyle Center. This lot does not require a reservation, but often fills up early. Parking may also be found at the Lucky/University Square Parking Ramp located off Johnson St, 1/2 Block East of Park St.
