Question-Based Planning and the 1-Page Goal Tree

It’s hard for family business leaders to get everyone going – and keep them going – in the same direction. When people lose focus, they work harder and harder, but go slower and slower.
But the traditional model of planning – mission, vision, strategy, tactics, etc. – rarely builds excited focus. Fortunately, there’s an alternative: Question-Based Planning. It starts with the common-sense idea that managers should get all the big questions on the table before committing to a plan. It results in a plain English, one-page ‘goal tree’ that provides the answers to the leader’s three key questions:
- Why are we doing this?
- Where are we going?
- What’s the best way to get there?
You will also learn a simple way to ensure you execute your plan, by summarizing and tracking projects on one page. Clarity is everything to a leader: Question-Based Planning lets you lead, plan and act with confidence.
